Let me introduce you to my friend Jonas Beals, the future author of the Adventures Ruby and Rocco… now named Rocco and Ruby, A Pirate’s life.

My husband Matt suggested that I talk to Jonas, who happens to be very skilled with the pen and also loves children’s books. I had so much trouble writing the story of Ruby and Rocco, with three different terrible version, all felt like a snub to the illustrations. I sent the pictures over to Jonas, and he has begun his magic. This book is happening!
